I tried so many new things here!
This piece was a big break for me as there is no photograph that I used for this composition. This was filled with original composition guided by some things I wanted to try and the likes and preferences of the subject.
I’ve been wanting to do an organic frame for so long, and I really enjoyed drawing and painting all those flowers (which were the favorite flowers of Mistress Blaze).
Apparently, skulls were a favorite as well, so I came up with a composition that included a skull (like “Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.” – style!)
I also did a lot of new things with color and composition this time around.
